House passes gun lawsuit shield legislation.
Also remember that last year the United States Government refused to renew the assault weapons ban. So now, not only can more guns make it to the streets, but victims of gun violence can not seek redemption against the dealers that put them there.
I just can't understand how this government functions when one day, they are proclaiming victory over terrorism, and the next they are enabling more terrorists to arm themselves. Do any of these people have the smallest amount of common sense?

Here about the cheeseburger bill?
Apparently, the government does get it, sometimes... they also passed a bill this week to make it illegal for fat people to sue the fast food industry. Good to know our government is really tackling the tough issues that threaten everyday Americans like you and me.*cough*
I'm glad I have a lot of really good beer right now. I don't know how I'd get through this week without it. On top of the government acting stupid, I've got four midterms and two projects I've got to do!
